Steve Howell is COO for First Capital Communities, responsible for project management and construction for all company properties. He is a Company Founder and has lead the acquisition process for the majority of the Company’s northern California assets
Mr. Howell has over 35 years of experience as a senior executive in the real estate development industry. He has directed all aspects of development and home building operations including the acquisition, entitlement, engineering, construction and disposition of large master planned communities, strategic in-fill properties, multi-family projects and commercial facilities. Prior to the formation of First Capital Communities, Mr. Howell served as President of Centennial Development Company, Inc., a firm assisting investors and national funds in acquiring and developing residential properties. Previously, Mr. Howell held a variety of executive leadership positions in the real estate development industry including Division President of SunCal Companies for Northern California and the Western Region, and Vice President of New Urban West, Inc. where he oversaw all homebuilding operations. Mr. Howell gained much of his vast experience working for a number of national and regional building companies in variety of operational functions as vice president, general manager, project manager, site development manager and construction superintendent.
Mr. Howell received his BS in Business Administration from California Coast University and pursued graduate studies at American Law School. He possesses a California General Building Contractors License, a California General Engineering Contractors License and a Nevada General Building Contractors License.
Suneet Singal is CFO for First Capital Communities, with primary responsibility for Company financial matters including investor and lender relations and deal origination. Mr. Singal is a Company Founder, and a successful commercial real estate owner, developer and financier.
Mr. Singal is the founding principal of First Capital Real Estate Investments, which has been in business over nine years as a fully integrated real estate company focusing on all aspects of finance and real estate development. He has worked in various functions in the real estate industry including acquisition of raw unentitled land, entitlement completion and map approvals, bond financing, infrastructure build-out and vertical construction, real estate asset rehab, and asset lease-up to stabilization. Much of his First Capital Communities focus has been on the acquisition of development land and more specifically residential build-outs where he has been able to successfully restructure the existing debt and bring them to financial stabilization in anticipation of future development efforts. In addition to his First Capital Community efforts, Mr. Singal manages several of his own development projects and real estate holdings, and he is a principal in multiple entities including a mortgage banking operation, residential and commercial brokerage, a retail operation and a sports equipment product company. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Singal has been successful in negotiating, structuring and financing the acquisition of over a dozen land development deals in California. He spearheaded acquisition, entitlements, and asset management for a variety of asset types including industrial, self-storage, mixed use properties, and multi-family assets.
Mr. Singal holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Finance with a concentration in Investment and is a licensed California Mortgage Broker.
